Spring is here and these lacy dragonfly socks would be perfect for spring in a lovely pastel!

Errata released! Now much easier to follow charts and instructions and further explanations.

After looking everywhere for a realistic lacy dragonfly I decided to design one of my own. I made these socks for my sister-in-law initially. This lacy dragonfly will stand out best on a monotone light colored yarn (pictured here in a dark yarn due to the gift nature of the project). This pattern comes with charts and written instruction for all four sizes. It also includes detailed instructions for toe construction, heel construction, and Kitchner graft. These can be made with one skein of yarn.

Materials needed:
cable needle (not necessarily)
darning needle
progress keepers
stitch markers
US size 1.5/2.25mm

Gauge is 32sts/40rows = 4” stockinette (use whatever needle you need to get gauge)

Stitches you will need to know:
Cable 2 Forward and backward
Cast on
Bind Off
K2tog
SSK
Yarn Over
Knit Front and Back

These socks were designed toe-up with 10% negative ease already calculated for a perfect fit every time. The pattern does not translate cuff down (I apologize in advance to all the cuff-down knitters. There may be errata in the future based on requests.)
