This design is actually a pretty old one! I designed this right after I found this stitch, but I could never get it quite right...

But then I tried to make it in Bernat Velvet yarn! This yarn was the perfect thing to make this hat what I wanted it to be, and now I'm very happy to finally be able to share it with you!
