Drawing Parallels has a simple, geometric, texture which works well with variegated or self-striping yarns as well as adding interest to solid or semi-solid yarns.

The pattern is written to fit a UK Lady’s size 6 foot (US 8) but there are notes at the end of the pattern to size the sock up and down. These can be used if you need to knit a larger or smaller size or if you prefer to knit on larger or smaller needles.

The sock utilises a tubular cast on which is a super stretchy cast on designed to begin ribbed edges such as cuffs on socks, sleeves or the hems of sweaters. The heel is a traditional heel flap and gusset construction and it is finished with a grafted toe.

The pattern is clearly written with a chart and written instructions for the main diamond motif.
