Traditionally, Native American dream catchers are quite tiny, and are given to infants upon birth. Each color and piece of the dream catcher is symbolic and sacred, as is the way it is made.

This is not a traditional dream catcher, but is instead a riff on the idea. Since the water element is mysterious and full of the dark or light potential of dreams, an invocation of a dream catcher is both lovely and potentially useful.
