Sesia Talent is a large cake of merino yarn (200g) with a long yardage (700m).
I wanted to take advantage of the nice colour transitions and decided to use shades of fluff to compliment the colours of the merino when double stranding.
I decided to go with 1 cake of Sesia Oliver (a blend of laceweight alpaca) - 425m and when this was gone, I used approx. 20g of the 1x25g Sesia Vivienne (mohair/silk blend). So in total I used approx. 600m of 4 ply and 600m of fluff (425+175m).
Size of the shawl as per my usage of yarn above : 185cm (73in) wingspan x 75 cm (30in) at the widest tip.

If you want to use the whole cake (700m of merino and 700m of fluff) - final dimensions as per testers projects: 214cm (84in) wingspan 84 cm (33in) deep.

The shawl features my original 2#2 stitch and has a symmetrical construction, a heart shaped shawl. Advantage of this construction is you can adjust the size and make it smaller if you prefer it that way. The number of stitches grows fast so you can bind off as soon as the wingspan is big enough for your preference.

The bind off is a knotted i-cord to match the stitch, instructions in the pattern how to work it.
