A wide border of spring flowers surrounds a tuck stitch body in this crescent shaped, two colour brioche shawl.

The sample shown uses approximately 500m (550yds) of each of two colours of fingering weight yarn, however the pattern is easily adjusted for other yarn weights and/or amounts, just change the number of repeats.

The pattern has both written instructions and charts. Detailed descriptions and photo tutorials are included for the more unusual stitches used.

Stitch abbreviations and chart symbols are based on those developed by Nancy Marchant. The tuck stitch pattern used in the body of the shawl is originally from Nancy Marchant’s book Tuck Stitches (although it is also described in the pattern).

In case of need, this and all my patterns are available through the Fiber Community Fund.
