If you can knit and purl, you can double knit, too.

About the baby blanket:

1. This is a reversible baby blanket in Double-Knitting, one size only, approximately 78cm x 92.5cm(30.5 inches X 36.5 inches). The blanket contains 21 different sizes of flowers.
2. Gauge: 26 stitches x 38 rows in double-knitting = 10cm x 10cm (4 inches).
3. Yarn: Merino cone yarn, yarn count: 2/32 3-ply. I twisted 2 strands together with an electric yarn twister, so the yarn count: 2/32 6-ply.

What you need:

1. Yarn weight: the closest to my cone yarn is No:2 Fine-Sport, 50 g (1.76 oz) / 150 m (164 yd), gauge is 26 stitches x 37 rows in double-knitting = 10cm x 10cm (4 inches).
2. Yarn yardage: Approximately 1,160m (1,269yards) each of two contrasting colors.
3. Needles: Circular needles 100 cm (40 inches) in 1.75mm(US00) and 2,25mm(US1).
4. Markers, tapestry needle, scissors and glue to integrate 4 sheets of the chart.
5. Optional suggestion: Bookstand and soft magnet sheet, to help read the charts when knitting. This is a large project, to finish the entire blanket, you will have to knit over 146,000 stitches, it’s a long hour of work. For the sake of protecting your neck, suggest using the bookstand and soft magnet sheet to help read the chart when knitting, you will learn how to use the tools mentioned above in the pattern.
