A lacey bookmark that can be knitted for two widths. Inspired by a climbing vine that twines all the way up to a meshy triangular roof.
A skinny i-cord joins the tassel onto the bookmark to hang right out of your books.

Pictured is the wide bookmark at 4” wide. The narrow bookmark will be missing the lace up the middle.

You’ll only need about 30 yards of lace or fingering weight yarn to make this lovely bookmark on US 3 (3.25 mm) needles with the i-cord knitted across US 0 (2 mm) dpns.
Can be knitted with one or two colors. (You will only need a couple feet of the second color for the tassel.)
