MEADOW,
The above mosaics come in 3 sizes: small, medium & large
The small one repeats 6x on each sleeve
The medium one repeats 3x on each sleeve
The large one repeats 1x on each sleeve
To see how the dress would look with mosaic on, follow the links mentioned above.
The dress is light and practical for every day life. The pattern contains instructions for making the plain dress or if you like, a peplum top. There are two options for the bodice: textured using back loop stitches, or plain
To add mosaic, you need to check out the designs mentioned above, purchase the one(s) you like the most, then work it/them onto the dress sleeves using waistcoat stitch and your favourite contrasting colour (35g in total).
All instructions are included in the dress pattern.
CONSTRUCTION
This garment is worked top-down, round yoke & seamless. The neckline is lacy, the chest and torso are worked using back loop single crochet for a breezy, light feel. The shoulders have each a 6x repeating flower pattern of stranded crochet made using the Intarsia technique. The flower motif is inspired by a beautiful mosaic tile from the time of George V
