Size is an individual thing and this can easily be made any size simply by increasing the beginning chain in multiples of 6, plus 7.

Spiritual explanation of stitches used:

sc - single crochet as representative of the individual. In this shawl, they never stand alone, all sc stitches are stitched into other stitches; you/we are not alone

dc - representative of the individual together with the Divine; we as men/women together with and supported by God

V-stitch for Victory over illness, pain, despair;

3-dc shell stitch representative of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit;

Chains for God’s strength woven through us and our connection to Him; representative of faith which keeps us strong
