Dreyrigenser
(When buying you get access to both the norwegian and the english version)
“Dreyri” means “blood” in Icelandic, and the sweater is named after an Icelandic horse with this name. The sweater contains a variety of symbols inspired by Icelandic tradition. It is knitted from the bottom up with circular yoke shaping. The only assembly required is to sew a few stitches under the sleeves. The sweater has only one pattern and stitch count but can be knitted smaller or larger by changing the gauge and doing some preparation. The original is knitted with Léttlopi yarn and a gauge of 17 stitches per 10 cm, resulting in a circumference of the body equal to 100 cm. How to calculate the correct size if you want the sweater smaller/larger than this and choose yarn is thoroughly explained in the pattern. Feel free to message if you need help or have questions. Please read through the entire pattern before you begin.
