I made those matching accessories for my husband and I last winter. A hat for him, a headband for me. I just love matching accessories for couple !

This project is fairly short and simple, and will be suitable for a beginner who want to start playing with cable stitches.

I used Malabrigo Arroyo yarn (Sport), but you can also use a DK yarn.

You will need the usual circular needles 40 cm (16 in) and double pointed needles for this hat, and single pointed needles for the headband, all in size 4mm (US 6 : UK 8).

You will also need a cable needle and a beginning of round marker ( a little piece of loose yarn can be used as a marker).
