Driving Gloves
by Cheryl Ryder
I wanted a fingerless mitt that mocked leather driving gloves. Using a slip stitch it’s easy to count rows if you forget to count on a row counter. It took me a few tries to get the thumb and stripes in just the right spot. I love the smooth edge of the i-cord cast on, no rolling but no ribbing either.
This uses about a half a skein of KnitPicks Wool of the Andes wool per color. For one solid color, it should take just under 110 yards (one skein).
