The Drop Dead Freddy Jumper is a top-down jumper, knitted both flat and in the round. It is knitted at a loose gauge with a relaxed fit. This garment was designed to be highly customisable, with simple but fun features. The project features drop shoulder construction, stripes, drop stitches & I-cord. This is a nod to my favourite jumper of my youth, a red and black striped jumper that I wore until it truly fell apart. I must also say, there was a little inspiration taken from Kurt Cobain, Freddy Kreuger and Drop Dead Fred, too.

Recommended yarn:
The sample uses both a fingering-weight and a lace-weight yarn held together and a lace- weight yarn held double. In the sample, black is the dominant colour.

Fingering-weight yarn, e.g., Nervus Fibre Devonia 4 ply 50% Exmoor Blueface 30% Bluefaced Leicester 20% Lustre Breeds - 388m / 424 yds

Lace-weight yarn, e.g., Nervus Fibre Suri Silk 75% Suri Alpaca and 25% Silk 50g - 420m / 459 yds

Sample uses:
