This very open scarf uses twisted drop stitches, with a simple lace pattern worked on the rows between the drops. Gauge really isn’t important here, use any yarn and needle combination that gives the desired openness. The yarn used in the sample was from a bargain bin, picked for the color and the metallic thread running through it. It is light weight, definitely lighter than worsted, with 212 yds in a 50g. skein.
