To Customize Size: To adjust the height, add or remove 5-row repeats — each repeat adds approximately 3 cm (1.2 in) to the finished height. To make the cover wider, add DC stitches on each side of both cable sections. To accommodate a thicker book, add DC stitches to the center DC group near the puff section.

Yarn Used: 1.5mm nylon cord, forest green (approximately 150g)

Gauge: 24 stitches x 13 rows per 10 cm (4 in) in DC stitch

Hook Size: 3mm

Materials: 1 magnetic snap closure, 1 wooden button approximately 1.8 cm (0.7 in), fabric for lining (optional), tapestry needle, scissors, stitch markers or pins, sewing needle and matching thread
