Bubbles - we just love them! Whether we are blowing giant pink ones from chewing gum, or popping the ones on that addictive packaging material that we just can’t walk away from. With these socks, you won’t have to walk away from that fun bulbous texture, because it will be on your feet! This pattern begins at the toes with an innocent lace diamond design, and then morphs into a burst of color and texture with a unique and fun short-row stitch pattern. Throw in a no-flap gusset heel, and some tricked-out ribbing, and you’ve got a pair of socks that will be the center of attention. The pattern contains instructions in text and charts, and, as always, there is video support to help you with techniques that might be new to you. The pattern is written for three sizes:

  • Narrow Width: 6.0 - 7.5 inch circumference at ball of foot
  • Medium Width: 7.5 - 9.5 inch circumference at ball of foot
  • Wide Width: 9.5 - 11 inch circumference at ball of foot
  • And foot length is determined by the knitter.

Yarn Requirements:

  • Main Color: Approximately 250 to 325 yards of fingering weight yarn.
  • Contrast Color: Approximately 70 to 90 yards of fingering weight yarn.
