The Dublin Cowl is an asymmetric triangular-shape that is fun to knit and easy to wear. It’s knit flat, starting with a provisional cast on and worked in a two-colour, slipped stitch tweed pattern, then joined to the cast on stitches using a three-needle bind off. The remainder of the stitches are cast off using an i-cord bind off. If you do not wish to use the provisional cast on/three needle bind off, instructions are given for working the cowl without.

The first sample is knit in just two colours (blue and cream), the second sample is knit using a main colour and four background colours, great for using up stash. The size of the cowl can easily be made bigger and directions for this are included (just ensure you have enough yarn!).With the variety of colours available in the Traditions wool from Folklore Yarns, the colour combinations are huge! Suitable for both male and female, this cowl would make a great gift knit.
