Dublin Fingerless Mitts

This pattern includes instructions for making the pictured mitts using a mid-gauge knitting machine and sport weight (#2) yarn.

This is a teaching pattern, including many pages of detailed descriptions and photos. It is suitable for machine knitting beginners and is designed for mid-gauge knitting machines such as the Silver Reed LK-150.

Although instructions are geared toward the LK-150, other mid-gauge machines can be used. If your machine uses different settings than the LK-150, you will need to understand the differences (for example, Bond machines use keyplates instead of setting tension dials).

More experienced knitters may enjoy using the included “Abbreviated Printable Instructions”, which summarizes the pattern down to just a couple pages, without all the detailed instruction.

The garment can easily be resized smaller or larger by omitting or adding cable pattern repeats. Instructions are included for how to accomplish this.

Don’t miss the free bonus pattern at the end of the document! It’s a thank-you-gift for purchasing this pattern!

This is a 1-skein project (100 gram ball of yarn).
