This pattern was also available as part of Ar: an Eco-friendly e-book with 5 original shawl designs.

Dueto is a bicolor shawl worked top-down that plays with lines, textures (garter/ stockinette/ lace) and colors.

As pictured uses a long transition colorway yarn as main color and a natural/ undyed yarn as a contrasting one.

Two vertical slip stitch lines divide each section ending with a cute ruffle lace ribbing. Stripes are both easy and fun to make adding charm and interest to this rustic shawl, being a fairly quick knit perfect for last minute gifts. Due to its lovely shape, it stays beautifully on the shoulders without falling.

As shown Dueto used 284.9 m (311.6 yds) of Noro Silk Garden as MC (sport weight yarn, 40% wool, 25% silk, 25% Nylon, 10% Mohair) and 217.1 m (237.4 yds) of Yarn Adventures sport (100% wool) as CC and is 130 x 38 cm. More yarn is required for a larger size and/or looser gauge. Info for knitting a larger size is included into pattern.
