Notes
This cardigan is worked in one piece from the top down. The back neck is shaped using Short rows and then the yoke is worked to the armholes, with raglan shaping. The sleeves are then placed on hold while the body is worked to the lower edge. Then the sleeves are worked to the cuff, with a slit at the outside edge of the sleeve.

The right front shaping and buttonholes are worked at the same time as the raglan shaping, but the instructions for those elements are given separately. In addition, when the raglan shaping is largely complete, instructions are given separately for the body and sleeve shaping, which are shaped at the same time, but at different intervals. You may find it helpful to use a row counter to keep track of your rows while working the shaping.
