The Dulcis Pullover
The changing season influenced me to to design something you could throw on with your favorite jeans and feel instantly comfortable. You know the in-between days–sunny but with just enough chill in the air to reach for a lightweight sweater. Inspired by those days when the weather can’t quite make up its mind, the Dulcis Pullover was born.
The name Dulcis comes from Prunus dulcis, the scientific name for the almond tree, as a quiet nod to the almond stitch used throughout the design. There’s something about this stitch that feels effortlessly organic, the kind of texture you’d find in nature. It caught my eye right away, and I fell in love even more when I realized how simple and quick it is to work up.
The result is a piece that feels both relaxed and refined with just the right amount of texture to keep things interesting without overcomplicating the process. Because let’s be honest–if it’s going to look this good, it should be fun to make, too.
