Dune Cardigan is a relaxed, textured lace cardigan worked from the top down.

The back is worked first and shaped with German Short Rows. Stitches are then picked up for the right and left fronts, which are worked separately before being joined with the back. The body is worked flat from the top down. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the armholes, and the sleeves are worked from the top down with short-row sleeve-cap shaping.

The pattern includes two finishing options: a tie-front version with I-cord ties, or a button-band version with four buttons.
