The Dunes Cardigan is slightly cropped, drop shoulder, deep v neck that buttons up at the front. It is a classic design with a modern twist. It will keep you cozy and in style during any season. It is designed to sit slightly longer than your waist line in length, but it can easily be made longer because it is constructed from the top down. First you will work the back section down to underarm, after that you will work the right shoulder then the left shoulder as well as the front to shape the v neck and the armholes, once those three sections are completed, work is joined and body is worked back and forth. A few videos are included in the pattern. The cardigan is worked flat and in the round (sleeves) in stockinette stitch until v neck is shaped, then lace stitches are incorporated in the body. Cardigan is framed with the classic k1, p1 rib. 15 to 20 cm / 6” to 8” of positive ease is built in to the pattern, chose your size based on how much ease you prefer.
