Dusk Blossom Throw
Are you ready for a new blanket pattern that’s all about versatility? Then the Dusk Blossom Throw Crochet Pattern is just for you!
This easy intermediate crochet pattern is soooo much easier than it looks. And it’s just as fun, too! And, even better than all that, it’s easily adjustable in length, width, color, stripe size, yarn size, and just about every way to fit your every need. Lots of notes are included on how to adjust for whatever changes you’d like to make.
The pattern is written out two ways: once to make the stripes horizontally and once to make the stripes vertically. Each includes instructions for an additional optional border.
As the pattern is written for the horizontal stripes, it requires approximately 575 yards each of 4 different colors of worsted 4 weight yarn to make a blanket that’s 65.5” long and 45.5” wide. As the pattern is written for the vertical stripes, you’ll need approximately the same amount of yarn to make a blanket that’s 70” long x 43.5” wide. (Featured yarn is Big Twist Values in colors Medium Grey, Mustard, Soft Grey, and Cosmetic Pink.) You’ll also need a US-J 6.00mm crochet hook, tapestry needle, and scissors. Overall, the blanket as written requires approximately 2300 yards of worsted weight yarn.
This pattern is so fun to work up and so versatile, you’ll be eager to make it a million different ways. It’s a perfect stash buster, too!
