I close my eyes, only for a moment, and the moment’s gone
All my dreams pass before my eyes, a curiosity
Dust in the wind
All they are is dust in the wind

Lines of slipped stitches create the pattern reminiscient of dust floating in the air, of particles in the light, of the poetry of life passing by. The socks are mirror images and the lines wrap around the legs.

This pattern is written for magic loop, but can be adapted to any sock technique by an experienced (or adventurous) knitter. It does not contain the full instructions for a heel. I used a Fleegle heel for the sampler.

I made a blog post about heels that you might find helpful: you can find it here
