This mandala can be made with any material you like to use, with crochet hook size adapted to your choice of yarn.

The pattern was made to use in my crochet class to practice a wide range of stitches.

magic circle
sliptstitch ss
chainstitch ch
single crochet sc
working in the backloops and frontloops
double crochet dc
puff stitch
popcorn stitch
V stitch (dc, 2ch,dc)
fan/shell stitch
half double crochet hdc
trebles
treble two together tr2tog
double crochet 4 together dc4tog

Finish every round either with a needle join or slipstitch.
