I pulled this out of my head when a friend asked for an emergency dwarf beard for a performance. I made this freehand in one night and now its almost a year later and i finally wrote it out. They make great gifts for teenage boys who love lord of the rings and have yet to start their own dwarven glory beard.

This is also a great project to get rid of spare worsted yarn. I had all of this heathered brown lion brand left over from a garage sale that worked perfectly for this, but any worsted yarn will work. You can even choose wacky colors or varigations for a funny beard.

This is the first pattern i have ever made and published, and it will be free for a while. I dont know if/when i will charge for it. If there are any problems with the pattern, please comment!!! Thanks!
