Pattern #142 – Lace Hoodie Cardigan

This lace hoodie cardigan is one I designed and charted myself. I have seen several versions of it in human size and wanted to do one just for dolls. The cardigan has a lace pattern on the front edges that runs up and around the hood. No front closures as it is designed to hang loose. Great for a cool spring day, your dolls will enjoy wearing it over skirts, dresses and casual pants. Simulated raglan sleeves cuts down on bulk and is easy to knit up. Easy to follow lace pattern has a scalloped edge making this a classic style for your doll. Fits SD ball-jointed dolls similar to Elfdoll, Narae, Volks, and vinyl dolls like Tonner’s American Model Doll.

Rating: #3 – Advanced. Although you only need to know how to knit and purl, you must be able to read instructions, and increase and decrease stitches and follow a lace pattern. Uses lace weight yarn on size 3/0 (000 or 1.5 mm) needles.
