Dylan the Dachshund may be a plump little guy, but he’s got more energy than you’d ever expect. Knit him in a simple Stockinette square, then knit up his floppy ears and tail. Assemble and embroider his face. Then add beads for eyes. If giving Dylan to a child, do not add beads—embroider eyes instead.

YARN
1 ball in #1445 Brown
Small quantity of black yarn

Like all of the cuddly creatures in this book, Dylan can be knit to different sizes by using different yarn weights and gauges. Need it oversized? Use bulky or jumbo yarn. Need it tiny? Try a finer weight. It’s as simple as that.
