This stunning shawl is triangular shaped with an eagle hovering in the centre.
The shawl is knit in stocking stitch from the bottom up, with the increases done at the sides by knitting into the front and back of a stitch and by yarn overs. The garment features a shawl collar added using short row shaping, a simple decorative edging added upon completion by picking up stitches along the two sides and braided ties at the top corners. The eagle is added as you knit using the intarsia method. The shawl is knit flat on two needles, a circular needle is used towards the end to accommodate the growing number of stitches!
