Ear Savers are great for people wearing masks for extended periods of time, have sensitive skin, or wear glasses and need to take added pressure off their ears. Simply put the Ear Saver across the back of your head and wrap the mask’s elastic band around each button.

Each Ear Saver uses between 8-10 yards (9 meters) of worsted weight yarn. I recommend using 100% acrylic yarn and plastic buttons so that it is washer/dryer safe. Recommended button size is either 3/4” or 1” (19 or 25 mm).

you can use either an H or an I hook depending on your level of comfort and tension
