This is an easy, slouchy, beret style hat, written for 4 sizes: baby, toddler, child, & teen / adult: 17”, 18”, 20”, & 21.5” measured at the band.

You can use any fingering weight / sock weight yarn. Designer recommends using a cotton or bamboo blend for best results.

Gauge is very loose in order to get a nice drape.

The third photo shows my model also wearing the matching shawl, Shallow Waters Shawl, which is a free pattern available on Crochetvolution.

Thanks to signjojo, wilmaelee, AsmaLina, QueenE79, weegee56, deadalchemist, judejean & Flametide for their test crocheting skills, to June Gilbank (http://www.planetjune.com) for her tech editing!
