This triangular bottom-up lace shawl have three main sections - edge lace, border lace and main body lace.
For border lace have two different versions - one is simple and the second is more delicate. At version 1 there are 626 nupps, at version 2 there are 994 nupps. If you wish to avoid nupps, you can replace them with beads.

Yarn: any cobweb or lace yarn is good for this shawl. Please be aware that heavier yarn (100g=1200m, or 100g=1000m) will require larger needles and more yarn, and the shawl’s measurements increases too.

Needles: 2,5 mm (US 1½) - 3 mm (US 2½),
for knitted cast on use 1.5-2 number of larger needle than those used for the body of the shawl. Also you need one DPN in same size for three needle bind off.

In this pattern gauge isn’t important, but you could swatch a pattern repeat to make sure the lace will not be too loose.

Shawl’s size depend on your yarn and needles. Here are two samples:
Light pink shawl is knitted with needles 2,5 mm, it is 165 cm wide and 80 cm height (blocked);
Natural white shawl is knitted with needles 3 mm, it is 220 cm wide and 102 cm height (blocked).

Pattern is full charted and the charts are also written out. Also there are some explanations and tips to facilitate your knitting. This pattern is not very difficult, but requires some experience in lace and nupps knitting.

This pattern is digital and it is non-refundable. Please take some time before shopping.
