These days, I truly find myself worrying about the Earth.
The air we breathe, the water we drink, and the nature that surrounds us —
they are all precious gifts we often take for granted.

That’s why I’ve been trying to make small, mindful choices in my daily life.
Recycling, especially, is something I do with real care and intention.

This Earth crochet project actually began as a simple educational prop
for my child’s daycare.
But over time, it quietly grew into something more —
a small campaign carrying my sincere hopes for the environment.

Though tiny in size,
I’m sharing this pattern with the heartfelt wish
that it becomes a gentle act of love for our planet.

This pattern creates a small 3D Earth motif, perfect as a soft toy, keychain, or educational prop.
It is worked in the round using single crochet and basic increase/decrease stitches.

Yarn: Romeo (Korean yarn)
Fiber content: 60% Cotton, 40% Premium Acrylic
Yardage: 50g / 120m (approx. 131 yards)

One ball of the blue yarn (main color) makes approximately 5 Earths.
Each motif uses around 25–30 yards of blue, and a small amount of green for the continents.
(The green yarn is used slightly less than the blue.)

Hook size: 3.5 mm (E)

Stuffing: Polyester fiberfill (optional, but recommended for a puffy shape)

No specific gauge required.
Since the finished size is not crucial, feel free to substitute any DK-weight yarn with a similar texture.

Great as a quick and meaningful crochet project — ideal for Earth Day events, eco-friendly campaigns, or kids’ educational tools.

이 도안을 나눕니다

도안 소개
이 도안은 작고 입체적인 지구 모티브를 만들 수 있는 패턴입니다.
말랑한 인형, 열쇠고리, 교육용 소품 등으로 활용하기 좋아요.
짧은뜨기와 기본적인 코늘림/코줄임 기법으로 원형으로 떠 올라가는 구조입니다.

사용 실: 로미오 (국산 실)
섬유 구성: 면 60%, 프리미엄 아크릴 40%
용량: 50g / 120m (약 131야드)

파란색 실(바탕색) 1볼로 약 5개의 지구를 만들 수 있어요.
지구 1개를 뜨는 데 파란색 실은 약 25~30야드 정도,
초록색 실(대륙 표현)은 아주 소량만 사용됩니다.
(초록색은 파란색보다 사용량이 적어요.)

사용 바늘: 3.5mm (모사용 6호)

솜: 폴리에스터 솜 (선택사항이지만, 통통한 모양을 원할 경우 추천드려요)

Die Luft, die wir atmen, das Wasser, das wir trinken,
und die Natur um uns herum –

Vor allem beim Mülltrennen gebe ich mir besonders viel Mühe – wirklich mit Herz.

Dieses Häkelprojekt der Erde begann ursprünglich
als einfaches Lernmaterial für die Kita meines Kindes.
Doch mit der Zeit ist es zu etwas Größerem geworden –
zu einer kleinen Kampagne, in der meine ehrliche Botschaft für den Umweltschutz steckt.

So klein es auch sein mag,
ich teile diese Anleitung in der Hoffnung,
dass sie zu einer liebevollen Geste für unseren Planeten wird.

Dieses Muster ist ein einfaches Häkelprojekt, um eine kleine, dreidimensionale Erdkugel herzustellen.
Ideal als Spielzeug, Schlüsselanhänger oder pädagogisches Material.
Gearbeitet wird in Runden mit festen Maschen sowie Zu- und Abnahmen.

Verwendetes Garn: Romeo (koreanisches Garn)
Zusammensetzung: 60 % Baumwolle, 40 % Premium-Acryl
Lauflänge: 50 g / 120 m

Mit einem Knäuel des blauen Garns (Basisfarbe) lassen sich etwa 5 Erdkugeln häkeln.
Pro Kugel werden ca. 25–30 Yards (23–27 m) blaues Garn benötigt.
Für die Kontinente wird zusätzlich etwas hellgrünes Garn verwendet
(weniger als das blaue Garn).

Häkelnadel: 3,5 mm (E)

Füllmaterial: Polyester-Füllwatte (optional, aber empfohlen für eine runde Form)

Maschenprobe ist nicht entscheidend, da die genaue Größe nicht kritisch ist.
Ein ähnliches Garn in DK-Stärke kann problemlos verwendet werden.
