Crochet can be more than flat pieces and simple shapes. With this pattern, I tried my first sculpted crochet project using floral wire.

The Earth Tone Vase is made by crocheting two strands of worsted weight yarn together around 22-gauge floral wire. The wire helps give the vase structure, while the double strands create a thicker, sturdier fabric.

You can adjust the height of the vase by continuing the rounds, as long as you maintain your tension and shaping.

This is a simple, beginner-friendly pattern and a fun way to try sculpted crochet for seasonal home décor.
