Socks were always SO intimidating to me… then I took a couple of classes and learned how to make them with a heel flap. I hated the heel flap! Then I discovered the Fish Lips Kiss Heel by SoxTherapist on ravelry.com and it changed my life! Also, I was introduced to using a 9” circular needle instead of double pointed needles (DPN’s) and that was yet another life changing moment! Put these two together and you have the easiest sock pattern in the world!!! Try it, you will love it! I’ll admit, when I downloaded the FLK pattern for the first time I was seriously intimidated. But if you take the time to read through it and make your cardboard foot as detailed in the FLK pattern, you won’t regret it. It is SUPER easy after you read the pattern and follow the instructions. Get ready for your sock knitting life to change forever!! :)
