East Gable Cowl begins at the neck as a top down triangle. It is then joined in the round to create a seamless cowl. The beautiful lace is finished off with a simple garter border.

This a quick project that works up fast on larger needles.

You may use a chunky/bulky weight yarn. The sample shown was knit using Cascade Eco+ Merino and used approx. 230 m / 249 yds.

The pattern contains both charts and written instructions for the lace pattern.

This pattern is based on my shawl pattern East Gable Shawl.

This pattern has been updated January 22, 2021 to correct an error in the original pattern.
