This is a digital pattern with Easter in mind. It is for an Easter Bunny and Chick, to fit a chocolate orange. This is a beginners pattern. It is knitted using 3.25mm straight needles and I’ve used a variety of oddments of double knit wool from other projects six colours in all. It is knitted in the flat. One size only 3.5 inches to the top of the head.
Materials required are; Toy filling, Tapestry/ sewing needles, Black and white embroidery thread, Buttons, 1 heart shaped for bunny’s nose, Handmade with love button for the ear optional . An alternative for the nose is a small piece of pink felt or pink French knots. A small amount of white wool for the whiskers. I like to use invisible thread for sewing the wings nose and ears. But you can use other threads of your choice. Chocolate Orange.
