This is an original design, for a lovely, spiral-patterned, lacy Easter egg! The lace covers a realistic-looking, ceramic egg. It really is not as hard as it looks to make this beautiful egg, whether for yourself, or as a gift for someone special!
Supplies needed:
1 Set Double Pointed Needles, In Size 5, 6, 7, or 8 (5”). (Needle size depends on yarn used.)
1 Tapestry Needle
Appx. 10 yards fingering weight yarn (buyer’s guide included)
1 Ceramic egg (buyer’s guide included)
This egg knits up very quickly!
Skills needed with double pointed needles (knitting in the round):
Knitting, yarn-overs (or yarn forward), ssk. If you can knit in the round, this will be simple for you! Knits up in less than an hour!
