Materials needed:
Worsted weight yarn in your favorite springtime colors
2.5 mm crochet hook (or hook needed to match desired gauge)
Stuffing
Stitch Marker
Tapestry Needle
Scissors

The following stitches are used in this pattern:
Mc – magic circle
St - stitch
Sc – single crochet
Inc – sc increase. Work 2 sc into designated stitch.
Dec – sc decrease Sl st – slip stitch

Gauge:
18 stitches x 26 rows = 4 x 4 inch square swatch. Using the hook that obtains this gauge will yield an Easter egg that is approximately 4 inches tall. Every person who crochets naturally works with a different tension. Hook size and yarn weight can be adjusted to make your item larger or smaller.
