This is a great way to use up all the scrap yarn from previous projects as create a cute toy or decoration. The hatchlings in the pattern are knitted in worsted yarn on needle size 3.5 mm (US#4) and is knitted in the round. Any yarn can be used as long as the needle size is down a couple for filling not to show. For smaller hatchlings use thinner yarn and needles.
