This modest pattern is versatile: it can be used as Applique (for a total yardage of 11 yd) or as an Ornament (for a total yardage of 17 yd). The only difference is that the Oval Disk is done twice for the Ornament, so that the back of work doesn’t show.

This project is excellent for using scraps of yarn and creating little colourful adornments that will delight both the young and the old.
