The finished Gonk, when worked in double knit yarn, will measure approximately 30cm high and 15-17cm in diameter.
This will of course vary with weights of yarn and hook/tension. Gonks worked in Aran or chunky will also be much larger.

All weights are approximent and will vary depending on the brand of yarn you choose but any double knit yarn will work for this gonk.
• Marriner Aqua double knit 80 g (Body and hat)
• Marriner grey double knit 20 g (Basket)
• Marriner beige double knit (Hands and the nose) 20 g
• Marriner yellow small amount for basket coloured band.
• Marriner candy floss, small amount for easter egg on tip of hat.
• Marriner white either double knit,Aran or fluffy type yarn 20 g (beard and tail pom
pom.)
• Marriner soft touch cotton- white 30 g (ears)
• Marriner soft touch cotton- pink 15 g (inner ear)

This pattern is easy to follow but requires basic crochet knowledge. It is written in US terms but easily to converts to UK.
