When I sat down to design Eastwood Cardigan, I wanted to make the perfect go to fall cardigan – easy to throw on over anything, flattering but kinda oversized, sweater-y and jacket-y. With POCKETS, of course! And this is what I came up with. This is basically me in a sweater – stripes, texture, unusual construction, and lots of wool. Easy to wear and style and take from early fall to late spring. I want one in ALL of the colors, and hope you do, too!

Sweater is worked kinda seamlessly, with a little fuss. Starting with the main color front textured panels, stitches are picked up from one front panel and worked in stripes around body, holding stitches for pockets and sleeves. Stitches are picked up around armholes and pocket holes, and neckline, to finish the sweater.

Unworked color can always be carried along while striping so there are minimal ends to weave in.
