A simple pattern, using just sc and blo. This pattern is adjustable to fit several foot sizes. Convenient foot (size) chart on the last page.

This pattern has been tested using :
a) 4-ply acrylic fingering yarn, Oswal mills , 50g/210 yds ; 4 mm crochet hook ;

b) Panda Magnum 5ply 100% acrylic yarn , 50 g; 4 mm crochet hook; Gauge : 5 rows and 5 sts= 1” ;
Comments : clear, photos helpful ;

c) Filature du Valgaudemar Douceline , 1 ball (130 m/ball) ; 4,5 crochet hook used ;
Comments : Helpful photos ; took about 6 hrs ; The shoes fit my mother perfectly. Her foot size is 8 (US Size). The shoes are 26,5 cm long, and I closed on 14 cm fm the toe end, but I also made one extra repeat of rows 6-11, in order to have the shoes high enough, after ok with designer
Skill level by tester : Advanced beginner

d) Hobby Lobby I Love This Cotton twist, listed as aran weight (153 yd per 85 grams) ; Used 87 grams, just a smidgen over 1 skein ; 3.5 mm hook ;
Gauge: 8 rows (4 “ridges”) = 2 inches ;
Comments : Pics very helpful, written instructions were clear. The only slightly difficult element for some may be the slip stitches, but there aren’t very many ; Completed in 3 days ; I also added 1 extra pattern repeat, maybe because of my yarn, to get a height of 6.5 inches on my rectangle/trapezoid. Length is 11 inches before seaming.

e) Blue Ridge yarns Footprints Carribean Cooler , 102 grams ; met gauge with G hook ;
