A, B, C… Easy as 1, 2, 3…

I don’t know about you, but I love skirts and have recently gotten into making them on my sewing machine, with a particular love for circle skirts.

I then had the genius idea to make a full circle crocheted skirt because honestly, EVERYTHING is better when it’s CROCHETED! (right?)

So… why’s it called The Easy As 1, 2, 3 skirt?
Because it’s simply that easy to make one (or ten)!

The pattern is written in a recipe-like style and is set out similarly to a worksheet (without the added worry of trying to figure out the math, there’s a formula for that)

It also includes lots of detailed notes that will walk you through making the perfect flouncy skirt to your exact measurements!

I wanted to help you all avoid two common problems that I usually have when buying skirts; Which is that they’re either too short if I pick the right waist size or they’re too big on the waist if I want the right length. (short torso, long leg problems)

But, this pattern, has none of those issues! Instead, it is worked from the waist down, which allows you sufficient hip room and also allows you to customise the length.

You could make it a mini skirt to wear over some leggings if you wanted to, or even make an elegantly long maxi skirt, the choice is yours!

It uses a 4.5mm hook, along with some DK yarn (or a thin cat 4 if prefered.) The yardage will entirely depend on the size you make but you’d approximately need between 200-2000yrds.

Happy hooking!

All of my patterns are tested by crocheters and/or designers to ensure the best and clearest instructions are presented to you!

Please note: Any yarns may be used other than the ones listed, crocheting should be an affordable hobby, so use what is easily available to you.
