Beginner friendly pattern for a pair of easy crochet gloves crocheted using worsted (aran) weight yarn with a 5mm hook. These easy crochet fingerless gloves are long and cosy like wrist warmers, perfect for those cooler days. Made in one piece from the cuff up, you’ll find these easy ladies crochet gloves are both simple and enjoyable to make.

Only basic crochet stitches used, making it suitable for Beginner crocheters too. The thumb hole is created by skipping stitches - the perfect introduction to beginner gloves.

I was inspired to make these Easy Autumn Gloves as a companion to my Easy Autumn Shawl pattern. Sometimes a shawl is great instead of a jacket, but I also like to be cosy around my wrists too. So these long arm warmers make sense, especially in a matching yarn to the shawl.

The pattern includes instructions for both Small and Medium sizes, plus you have scope to adjust and customize the sizes further to suit the whole family.

I’ve used variegated yarn here, but you could easily use plain yarn, or use up your scraps by making stripes.

Materials:
• Heavy worsted (or aran) weight yarn:
- Small size at least 50g/136yds/124m
- Medium size at least 70g/190yds/170m

• Size H8 (5mm) crochet hook
• Size G6 (4mm) crochet hook
