Type of yarn used and amount required varies depending on personal choice. My preference is holding 2 strands of baby yarn together. Two skeins each of 2 coordinating/contrasting colours (4 skeins total), without using all 1400 yds, results in a blanket approx 38” x 33” including a shell border.
