I saw one of these beautiful little hats at Nordstrom and just had to design a pattern for it! These are so cute, quick and easy to make! This Aunt Lydia’s thread is absolutely beautiful, is super soft and has just the right shine to it - it’s perfect for this project. And, at $3.00 a ball (in my neck of the woods), it’s even prettier!

(They’re 300 yds each, so you can either double one ball yourself to make one hat or buy two balls to use double stranded, which would be enough to make two hats).

This hat is worked from the crown down in one continuous piece. Pattern includes instructions for making the crocheted flower but just general instructions for the remaining embellishments (because I just used feathers, some ribbon and a pearl bead I had on hand). This is the perfect little hat for adding your own unique touch, so many different embellishments would be adorable. Or, you can just add one of those pretty little pre-made flowers they have at craft stores!

Instructions are for 3 sizes with (approximate) head circumferences:
-- 0-6 months: 15-16”
-- 6-9 months: 17-18”
-- 9-12 months: 18-18-1/2”
